Well, it's close to December. It's been nearly 5 months since I moved out here and I've gotten quite used to it here in Portland, Oregon.
Weather is nice, people are ok...even though there is an obscene amount of liberals out here, I hold out hope that they can be helped.
Thanksgiving was nice, we went to Bobbie Jo's and her boyfriend made dinner. Awsome turkey dinner and was most filling.
"Black Friday" was interesing. The 'busiest shopping day of the year' was a bit of a letdown. Granted it was nice to have a 9 hour shift but it wasnt as busy as I was expecting/hoping.
The Wednesday before Thanksgiving was nice though, Jackson got 6 inches of show and we had 55 degree weather with a slight breeze. It's now gotten to the point where it's below 40 degrees or around 40 for most of the day and night, it's different but nice.
Soon, I'm hoping to be able to start getting my comics from Nostalgia so I can get caught up with them, I miss my comics....
Few final thoughts:
I do wonder how certain people are doing in Michigan, but they had a strong disliking for me when I left so while I have ways of contacting them, I've opted not to. Live and let live, you know? I have lost so much of the anger in me since I've been here, I fear that being in contact with these folks will bring it back. Let's just say I hope things are going well for them.
Also, BUSH WAS RE-ELECTED!!!! All is well in America and Michael Moore was shown how impotent he always was. Now those racist liberals will just have to get used to losing.
