Chocolate Chip Pancakes

MMMMMM-mmmmmmm! What a nice late breakfast we are having!

I just found out about a comicon in Seattle, WA in Feb. that is going to have Jhonen Vasquez, creator of JTHM and Invader Zim, in his first con appearance in 2 years. I'm REALLY going to try to go. It's at a football stadium(!) so it should be interesting.

Anywah, it's getting to be at the end of the year and that NORMALLY means a total recount of my comic books. It's something I do at the end of every year to make sure my counts are correct and my collection index is accurate...the project takes longer and longer every year. This year things are different, though. I'm in Portland, OR and my collection of nearly 3500 comics are still in Jackson, MI...so, I guess I'll do a kinda-count...that basically means I'll just trust my year long track keeping and hope everything is right, lol. My counts for the past few years have been dead on and I haven't gotten rid of any comics in about 5 years so they should be right.

It's looking like a visit to Jackson is going to happen. Both happy and sad, happy that I will be able to see family and friends again, but sad in that my step-mother has passed away. I guess sad for us, but for her, it's gotta be better than living in all the pain she lived in. I know she's happy about that. I plan to visit her grave when I get there since I missed the services yesterday.
