State of the Union

I'm online listening to the State of the Union on a small radio and wondering what the hell is wrong with people? Outside there was a small group of people protesting, actually protesting a SPEECH!! With signs saying junk about impeaching President Bush to World Peace it really shows you the mindset of these people. Here we have a President who was voted for TWICE, a man who has actually stood up for our great nation and he gets slammed for it. He gets slammed for so-called 'domestic spying.' Now, this so-called spying was focused on people who were making and receiving calls from the terror group, Al Qeda, remember they attacked us on September 11, 2001...So, what, exactly, is wrong with listening in on these assholes who talk to the very group that murdered some 3,000 innocent Americans and others in less than 2 hours?!
I say LISTEN IN! We need to be able to fight this war if we hope to win it, people. Allowing these terrorist scumdogs to have the same rights and protections that normal people, normal Americans have, is insulting.

We are safer now, we have a President who stood up to the evil terrorists, unlike the previous President. Iraq has had TWO free elections, Afghanistan had it's first FREE elections with a WOMAN making the first vote! Libya, a long time terror state, the same one who the U.N. appointed to its human rights deal (go figure), walked away from its terror support, WITHOUT A SINGLE SHOT FIRED!
These are great things, people, great things that are being IGNORED by many people in this country who have nothing more to go on but their hatred for our President.

Those people are wrong.

We Will Negotiate for it, Sacrifice for it...
We will not surrender for it, now or ever"

People Who Need Help

Animal Right Loonies
Yeah, there is this group of nuts called In Defense of Animals who likes to protest in front of a local fur coat store. They have their usual signs showing mutilated animals, make their chants of "murderer!" when an employee comes out and chant "shame on you!" when I walk into that very same fur coat store.
Yeah, IDA, alone with it's partner group, PETA (Pinheads for the "Ethical" Treatment of Animals) likes to make many outrageous claims, yell, insult, being basically rude little shits in hopes of scaring others into either agreeing with them, or being to afraid of being labeled "animal-hater" to voice another opinion.

sucks for them: I'm in NEITHER of those categories!

Here is what I've noticed about these nut-jobs:
1: They are rude and very obnoxious. This means if you try to talk to them, like a SANE person, they cut you off, call you ignorant and make lame and outlandish claims. Let me break this down even more...
Here is an example:
Them: How can you support the mindless torture of poor helpless animals?
Me: I don't.
Them: If you aren't fighting it, then you support it!
Me: No, I simply see nothing wrong with what these businesses are doing.
Them: HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT?! THEY KILL ANIMALS!!!
Me: They kill animals raised just for that purpose. Just like farms do with dairy cows, pigs for ham and so on.
Them: You are so stupid if you truly think that!
And it goes on, I'm stupid because I simply fail to see why someone who wants a fur coat shouldn't be allowed to buy one.

2: You want a stupid question? Wait five minutes.
Example:
Them: You have any children?
Me: No.
Them: You have any pets?
Me: Yes, we have a cat and a spider. So what?
Them: How would you like it if someone skinned your cat?
Me: Wait a minute...why did you ask me if I had kids?
Them: That's not important.
Me: No, really, if I had said 'yes' would you have asked how I would feel if someone skinned my children?
Them: (only after some poking) Yes.
Me: That is the dumbest thing I ever heard.
Here is another example from a more recent conversation:
Them: How would you like it if someone grabbed you out of your bed and skinned you alive?
Me: That's a truly stupid question.
Them: No, it's a very valid question.
Me: You really ask people that sort of thing? Does it ever actually change someone's mind?
Them: Well, it's a very val-
Me: No, does it ever actually work?
Them: I'm only say-
Me: This is a very simple question: Does it ever actually work?
Them...well, at this point they babble something about how I have animals and I'm ignorant...you know, stupid people talk.

3: The Holocaust is nothing compared to raising animals for fur. You'll note this is in bold type. It's something that needs to be exposed and expanded on. I've actually had these animal rights nut jobs compare the fur industry to the Holocaust. Now, anyone with even HALF a brain knows the Holocaust was truly one of the single worst moments in human history. Millions of innocent men, women, AND children were murdered for simple being Jewish. The only word that comes to mind when I read about it is HATE. Mindless, stupid hate. Now, to trivialize that horrid and sad event with a bunch of stupid animals is a travesty. Anyone who makes such a claim and IS SERIOUS should be backhanded like a spoiled step child.

4: Most of these loonies won't even stand up for what they believe.
Alright, this is the fun part. At every 'protest' I've walked through (and yes, I walk THROUGH them. I pay taxes here, I earned the right to walk on that sidewalk. If they happen to be there and with to express their utter contempt for mankind and American business, well, I'll listen, but then I get to say something back) there is always a few of them with a scarf covering part of their face or wearing a ski mask of some sort. Now, this, to me, is interesting. When I talk to them, I NEVER make an attempt to hide who I am. When I was talking with people who called me names during the last Presidential campaign I never backed down or hid who I was and what I stood for. I believe that if you truly, with all your heart, believe in something than you have no reason to hide. I've asked them why they cover their faces and I get "it's cold" but even out here, 45 degrees isnt that cold.
Now we can take this in one of two ways:
1- they are truely afraid of someone seeing them and are embarrassed of what they are doing. Which may actually be the case and that's fine, if you have no spine, though, you need to grow one. But when I see these nuts in masks I think of...
2- When you watch the news, and you see people threatening others, being general pains in the ass, blowing things up...like PETA, ALF, IDA...what part of the news are you generally watching? Ever notice that these tools are often used by what we call terrorists? Using fear and intimidation to get your way is a terrorist tool. Now, I know you may think that's a little over the top but when a group like the Animal Liberation Front (ALF) threatens people who do important medical research on animals, place their names and addresses on a list ALONG WITH THE NAMES OF THEIR CHILDREN, that's a terrorist act. This is true, by the way, the British government put a stop to those nuts though and no kids were harmed. This time.

All I'm trying to prove here is it's alright to not want animals to be abused or tortured, nobody with a soul would want that. But groups like People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA, which opposes animal research even if its to find a cure for AIDS and opposes seeing eye dogs), In Defense of Animals (IDA, a group that has joined PETA on many occasions and one I have fun with out here quite often), and Animal Liberation Front (ALF, who, years ago sent a man named Rod Corronado to a college to teach them to make 'crude' bombs) are not helping and should be exposed and stopped.

By the way, the fur store IDA protests in front of has been have 50% OFF EVERYTHING IN STOCK sales....they call it, as the big signs in the windows say: PROTEST SALE (DURING PROTEST ONLY)
And no, they nuts didn't answer my question of what they thought about giving them a great sales gimmick.

2006...

A new year and a new chance to make an impact on the world around me...

My main focuse this year is going to be trying to patch my mind up, last year took a huge toll on me and I need to realign myself. Some issues have been dealt with, bridges have been repaired and friendships have been strenghtened in ways I could never imagine possible!
However, some things are still unfinished and some people...well, I'm not going to have my first post of the new year darkened by the thoughts of certain ones who I'm not yet prepared or willing to deal with right now.

COMICS
GARBAGE PAIL KIDS
WRESTLING
POLITICS
Fun things that keep me going...

Also mindless rants without direction in my Blog!!!
