In Defense of Animals?

Alright, let's get down to brass tacks with these nuts.
This is the group that has been HARRASSING and TERRORIZING a local fur store. Their supposed 'reason?' Well, the store, Schumacher's, tortures animals.
That's a big suprise to me since I've been IN that store to give them my support many times and never once saw an aminal being slaughtered.
They claim the animals are tortured by the 'fur farms' well, this makes no sense to anyone with brain one in their head because it's well known that animals who are under massive stress tend to lose their fur in clumps.

It's not good for business to mistreat your main source of money. Now, I'm not saying that all fur farms are nice, I'm sure there are some who don't follow the law but the fact is any NORMAL THINKING person won't generalize the whole industry based on the actions of a few.

Now, in looking up some information on the fur industry I found the following interesting tidbits of information:

92% of Americans disapprove of the harassing tactics used by animal rights groups.

88% of all Americans say the animal rights movement has had NO influence on their decision to buy fur.

86% of Americans support an individual's freedom to choose whether or not to wear fur.

Less than 3% of Americans live by the animal rights philosophy.

Crimes committed in the name of animal rights have been designated as domestic terrorism in the U.S. by the FBI.

In the flyer I found a few days ago, IDA claimed that some 2 million people are vegans. This number, I guess, was supposed to impress someone. I mean, 2 MILLION, that's a big number, right?
The headline of today's USA Today announced the population of America is nearing 300 Million.
Now, in the context of reality, does 2 million really sound all that impressive?

But this is what really gets me, these nuts who 'protest' outside of Schumacher's claim to love animals, the main reason for their hate is the supposed torture of animals to make fur coats.
They hate the torture and killing of animals...
...and yet they SUPPORT the killing of animals...

What?

That's right, IDA is a group that is supported in part by PETA, People for the 'Ethical' Treatment of Animals. They protest together, they plan and scheme together, PETA even donated $71.11 to this group showing a little bit of monetary support.
How does that prove the IDA actually supports the killing of harmless and lovable cats, dogs, puppies and kittens?
Well, they get and give support to and from PETA. At its Norfolk, Virginia headquarters, PETA KILLED over 14,4000 Cats, Dogs, Puppies and Kittens from 1998 through the end of 2005.
That's over 2,000 poor animals a YEAR.
IDA supports and gets support from PETA.
PETA KILLS animals.
IDA SUPPORTS the KILLING of animals.

IDA also doesn't like the idea of you calling yourself a pet 'owner'
They prefer the term 'pet guardian' because they like to equate you dog to your child. If they had their way though, you would not even be allowed to have a pet dog, cat or even a fish! The true goal of the so-called animal rights movement is the "total liberation of all animals."

Now, how about we connect IDA to TERRORISTS?
Easy....
We know they support PETA.
PETA also loves and supports groups like the Animal Liberation Front (ALF) and the Earth Liberation Front (ELF). These groups are on the FBI domestic terrorist list and apparently more than welcome here in Portland Oregon where our 'mayor' Tom Potter saw fit to remove our city from the FBI's Anti-Terror program. In my eyes, if you ain't against it, you must be for it.
So, PETA gives money and support to ALF and ELF...IDA supports PETA.

Guess that explains why some of those morons wear stupir costumes when they are terrorizing Schumacher's.

Wow, that was suprisingly easy. Of course, those protesting loonies will probably never get this important and FACTUAL information...unless someone were to post a sign right where they protest every saturday around noon....but who in their right mind would do that?
