Well, looks like no business is safe from the terrorists who claim to fight for animal rights. Here in Portland there is a LEGAL business, Wachovia Securities, who have been labled as animal haters by the Animal Liberation Front (ALF). Their flat out attacks on the business is familiar to me.
* Lying about the business and it's employees
* Posting information about those involved with the company on the internet
* Taking their 'protests' to the HOMES of the employees
* Being assholes to normal people.
These are the same tactics Matt Rossell and his band of trained monkeys used against the Schumacher's for over a year.
Of course, Matt's terrorist friends go a bit firther by posting the names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses of the employees of Wachovia on the internet.
This is wrong.
What does Portland and the state of Oregon do?
NOTHING.

This is from the ALF website: Portland: In an anonymous communiqué received by the North American Animal Liberation Press Office, Animal Liberation Front (ALF) activists have claimed an attack on a Wachovia Securities executive for his company's role in supporting animal testing. Wachovia invests heavily in GlaxoSmithKline, one of the largest customers of Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS), Europe's largest contract animal testing company. According to the communiqué, activists spray-painted the home and automobile of Wachovia First Vice-president Jason Bratt during the early hours of March sixth.
Exactly what does using spray paint on a persons PRIVATE PERSONAL PROPERTY do for animals?
And what proof do we have that the SPRAY PAINT wasn't made using animal-based products?
And the city/state does nothing. The city did NOTHING to protect a 112 year old business either so this shouldnt suprise anyone. The State of Oregon is the new name for the State of Insanity.
But our 'leaders' have enough time on their hands to ban smoking outside because Randy Leonard is a big pussy, they have time to actually think about banning transfats which ARE NOT AS BAD AS THESE MORONS CLAIM.
What the hell is going on here?!
