You know, all this talk about what Don Imus said is really pathetic. He made a joke on the radio and it bombed. Ok, fine, get over it!
Instead of accepting his apology, we have to go through the same bullshit from the same assholes who always try to keep racism alive in this country: Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.
They sort of remind me of Beavis and Butt-Head. Remember them? They used to find sexual humor in almost anything anyone said. Al and Jesse are the same way only they find something racist in almost anything anyone says.
Fact of the matter is the only racists I see are Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.
You guys are officially ASSHOLES and need to shut the hell up!

Anyway, I agree with you whole-heartedly. The sad thing is Imus was not intending to insult the girls. He was making an attempt to use street slang to comment on how tough the girls were...the same things said in tons of rap songs today...but as Matt Lauer says "Freedom of Speech seems to exist for everyone...unless you are white".
Not only that, in the two idiots crusade to remove so a tyrant and racial monster from the airwaves, they pushed for his firing in the middle of a fund raiser for childern suffering from cancer.
The thing that pisses me off most...you never hear those two hypocrites decrying the numerous instance of other blacks using those phrases in popular culture (look at Dave Chappelle) nor do you hear them come to the aid of the white people that are constantly insulted in black comedy and so on.
But, of all things...this idea that these women and their race were "violated and insulted" is stupid. As I said, these words are used often and there is never this outrage.
Lastly, who was harmed more...a few tough basketball players for being called names...or the kids with cancer who now face less funding and possibly an end to the program Imus ran to help them.
I hope Jesse and Al get thank you letters from the families of those children who face less comfort due to their actions.....assholes!
