Let me put it this way: I'm sure the animals are hurt when they are killed. IT HAPPENS. BUT at least when they are killed for industry they are used for clothing or food or MEDICINE, unlike when PETA kills animals only to dump their bodies in a dumpster behind a shopping mall. So, Potter does nothing and Portland loses a nice chunk of history. And for what? To please a bunch of moronic, human hating freaks who think the term 'animal rights' makes sense and that we should never use animals for anything.
HOWEVER, Potter will talk with the terrorists from ALF and try to agree with how much those assholes can break the law before he will enforce it. Innocent people's lives are being ruined by the ALF and why? Because they work at a place that might use animals for medical research. These terrorists think animal research for medical reasons is pointless and cannot help humans in any way.
But maybe these freaks are right, I mean its not like we actually SEE the benifits from animal testing. It's not like anyone actually needs things like drugs to control high blood pressure, anaesthetics, blood transfusions, insulin for diabetes, penicillin, Leukaemis treatments, or medicines for the following: Alzheimer's disease, blindness, cystic fibrosis, multiple sclerosis, parkinson's disease or HIV/AIDS treatments. I can see how that wouldn't effect ANYONE, right? Fact is animal research is allowing, at least, MILLIONS of people EVEN SOME OF MATT'S FRIENDS continue to live. We should be thanking those animals and thos researchers for allowing so many of our loved ones to live.

First I would like to say I voted for you and I'm rather upset about that. When I voted for you, Tom, I thought you were going to represent ME, an AMERICAN. I had no idea you were going to represent illegal criminal aliens. First the I.C.E. raids where you made your vulgar and, honestly, unAmerican remarks (which you have yet to take responsibility for and make amends to those of us who LEGALLY voted for you) but now you want to use taxpayer -MY- money for a day labor camp? This offends me for 2 main reasons: 1) that you would again offer something to those who are here illegally, I would hope you knew most of those who use these things are ILLEGAL and 2) you would dare to use MY MONEY for this garbage! Make no mistake, Tom, it's MY (as well as all others who pay taxes) money. It's bad enough so much it taken by force but then to tell us that YOU have decided to use it to benefit those who don't pay taxes and don't even obey the law...well, that's to much to handle. You've done a horrendous job as mayor. Everything from your support of illegals and terrorists to your complete impotence on the Schumacher case to dropping the ball on the homeless. NEW YORK — A member of the Rutgers women's basketball team sued Don Imus and CBS on Tuesday, claiming the radio personality's sexist and racist comments about the team damaged her reputation.
Kia Vaughn filed the lawsuit alleging defamation of character in state Supreme Court in the Bronx the same day Imus settled with CBS Radio in a deal that pre-empts his threatened $120 million breach-of-contract lawsuit against CBS.
Vaughn's lawsuit, believed to be the first by a player in the case, says Imus and his former co-host Bernard McGuirk, along with CBS Corp. and CBS Radio, are legally responsible for damage done to her character and reputation. There is no dollar amount listed in the suit.
Vaughn's attorney, Richard Ancowitz, said: "The full effect of the damage remains to be seen."
"This is about Kia Vaughn's good name," Ancowitz said. "She would do anything to return to her life as a student and respected basketball player — a more simple life before Imus opened his mouth on April 4."
Imus referred to the basketball players as "nappy-headed hos" on his nationally syndicated radio program in April, becoming the target of heated protests led by the Rev. Al Sharpton. He was fired shortly after.
A spokeswoman for CBS Radio declined to comment.

Ahhh...once again our dumbass Mayor and his who cancerous growths, Sam Adams and Randy Leonard, have decided to support criminals! This time they want to use $220,000 of AMERICAN TAX MONEY to create a day labor camp.

Recently, a 15 year old girl from California was found murdered in an apartment in nearby Clackamas county.
So what, you ask? Well, she was raped and strangled by 2 men. One was 24 and the other 23.
But if you dig further you find out that THEY ARE ILLEGAL ALIENS AND THEY WERE DAY LABORERS. That's right, the very program Potter and the Home for Retarded City Commissioners wants to use OUR money for employed these scum-sucking douche bags.

Bias in the Media..?
This is an interesting reply I recieved from my last post:

Now, I don't know this Denson person, honestly I won't read the Oregonian...far as I'm concerned I get more actual information from the Weekly World News or even the other two rags around here. But this doesn't suprise me in the least. The Oregonian has proven itself to be on the side of the lunatics around here. I heard they reported that the 'actual' reason Gregg Schumacher shut his store down was due to some sort of 'family feud.' And I'm sure the sheep around here bought it.
And, through the wonder of the Internet...I have found the ARTICLE. And, oh, my...it's written by (dramatic pause) Bryson Denson!
Under the headline "Feud, not protesters, fueled fall of Schumacher Furs" and dated Sunday, July 15, 2007, Denson opens with:
A story passed through Portland last winter, and it went like this: Mobs of rowdy, profane, sometimes topless animal-rights activists demonstrated so often at the doorstep of a century-old fur salon that they ran the business out of town.
Many Portlanders, including business leaders, were outraged by this collision of old values and new sensibilities. How, they wondered, could anti-fur activists get away with destroying a venerable institution that had stood since 1895?
But it turns out the tale was more fable than fact.
Of course, he forgot to add 'threatening, obscene, intimidating, harassing and anti-Business" to his list of words to describe Matt's Ass-Hats. But beyond that I have to wonder, where was this guy, this so-called reporter, all the time this story was going on? He seems to have done something that, at least, resembles research on the Schumacher Family as he seems to have all this 'information' on the supposed feud between Gregg and his brother, Mark. I've linked to the article and will consider posting it here for continued display.
But here's my question: If this guy had all this information and 'knew' this feud was the 'real reason' the store closed...where was he? Seems to me the impact of exposing the apparent lies of someone in an effort to hide a supposed failing business would be like blood in shark filled water to people like this Denson guy. So...why didn't he 'blow the lid' on this story right in the middle of the controversy?
Simple.
It's bullshit.
I've noted reasons the Schumachers had to close their store down and it makes total sense. Hell, I'm not even a real reporter...wouldn't want to be since I have a backbone...and I figured it out.
Now, are there hard feelings between Gregg and Mark? Honestly...who gives a shit? If it were the reason then it would have come out right in the middle of all this.
So, here's what I think:
This 'reporter' has a soft spot in his heart...and his head...for the protesters. Why else would he suddenly have this story? I mean, if this was something that was happening last year, and the story says the feud was going since about 2004, then damn, why not break the story and protect the poor protesters? CAUSE IT'S BULLSHIT!

See what I mean?
Well, it's been a few days since my last post and looking in at the so-called 'indy media' site here in Portland, I happen to NOT see my post. Again, proving my point that around here the only thing that is considered 'free speech' and 'independent thought' is what 'everyone' else is thinking and saying.
Sucks to be them, huh? 'Cause I'm not one to think within their rather constricting box.
So, these people like to go around and terrorise and harrass people who simply want to make a living...SCHUMACHER...and get off on destroying lives and people's ability to live theirs.
OK, and the people who are elected to run this city are the ones who allow this shit to continue.
So, now, we have more assaults on humanity by the terrorist group ALF (Animal Liberation Front) These guys are real winners. They intimidate and THREATEN people who are trying to better the lives of us all by way of animal research. They fire bomb medical clinics, protest outside the HOMES of people they hate, even vandalizing private personal proterty to prove their point: The lives of animals are much more important then that of your sons and daughters. Here in Portland, Oregon, however, we see these monsters and hypocrites in a different light. Our Mayor, apparently is wanting to hold talks with these dipshits and want to figure out how much they can break the law before the law is considered broken. Make sense? Well, if you are a normal, meat-eating person...naturally it doesn't.
The ALF are a bunch of bullies and cowards. They threaten while hiding behind masks...faces covered in black ski masks are all we see of them...just like the mask covered assholes who decapitate Americans. These are called Terrorists. They pick and choose their fights as well. ALF is not above threatening CHILDREN, that's right, my friends, these 'freedom fighters of fish' are taking on KIDS...yet, when a group is proven to have killed animals left and right like...oh, lesse...PETA(!) they are strangely silent. They have NEVER protested outside PETAs headquarters.
Of course, maybe it's a 'you scratch my back' thing. ALF set fire to a pet shop that sold lizards and snakes. They spray-painted 'end animal slavery' or something equally stupid on the walls as they torched the place. But, wait...they forgot to FREE THE ANIMALS BEFORE BURING THE PLACE! So, while firefighters were trying to fight the flames they also had to try to save these scared animals, some of which were poisonous! And PETA said nothing.
ALF NEVER does anything in the light of truth and honesty. Much like Matt Rossell and his assmonkeys and their friends at PETA and IDA. They spew lies and they bully those who dare to shine the light of truth and those who refuse to turn around and walk away. (SCHUMACHER). And our city...'leaders' have embraced these people.
Which just adds to the list of stupidity of Tom Potter. He has really lost his mind and I find it odd how NOONE in this city is standing up and DEMANDING answers from this old shit. My letters have been ignored, I know that for sure. The local paper, some tabloid called the Oregonian doesn't do anything to shine the light on this. Hell, they are friends of Potters.

Our Mayor SUCKS, and other opinions
Ok, I know, I'm always harping on this pin-dick, but honestly...
He IGNORED the Schumacher's when they needed help.
He IGNORES the fact we are at war with terrorists by becoming one of the few cities that is not part of the FBI's terror 'task force.'
He IGNORES the laws of this country by protecting those who are here illegally.
He IGNORES the rights of Americans, especially those who smoke.
What doesn't he ignore, you ask?
Well, he's going to be wasting $200,000 of AMERICAN money for day camps that mostly attract ILLEGAL ALIENS.
He sides with anti-business assholes like Matt Rossell....

There are STILL stores in Portland that sell fur! If Matt and his fucks where serious about this 'crusade' of theirs then they would have gone out and assaulted another store!

Oh, sure, these pinheads are protesting the local KFC now, because we aren't allowed to eat or something, but where are the fur protests?
