Well, seems I have a regular reader from the ranks of the ignorant! That's right, PETA, ALF and IDA supporter calling herself, I'm assuming it's a chick but you never know, ptownpixie has taken it upon herself, again, I'm assuming...to read this my blog and make some sort of remarks trying to defend her stance against business, freedom and the lives of children. Here's the latest (naturally I get to reply):
i wasn't reffering to you eating chaloupas because your hispanic, i was reffering to you eating them because you like to do things that are damaging to your body, just like you try to damage people with any views other than yours. i'm sure you even need to admit to yourself that you a bit of an extremist on the opposite end, no? so therefore we do have something in common whether you like it or not. neither one of us wants to see sick people suffer and we both want cures for disease. however we feel like there are different ways of obtaining cures and your view is sort of outdated in light of stem cell research and given the fact that almost all animal tests results turn out to be completley different when applied to a human body. its unecessary and needs to change. i respect your rights. you have every right to do whatever you want! so do i sweetheart. and i also respect the right of animals who have no rights. its my right, to choose to save these animals if i want to. your the one who isnt respecting my right to do that. as far as walking around all butt naked on a saturday showing my horrid, saggy body off, well i havent done that yet but trust me, you might forget all about wonder woman.
Let's see...I don't smoke and I don't take any drugs...I drink on occasion but I don't see what I do that's bad for my body...OH! wait, she must be talking about eating meat, something that is NATURAL and something that our bodies are built for. What are CANINE teeth for? EATING MEAT. It's either that or take pills to get the proteins you need that only exist in meat.
I don't think I'm an 'extremist' in any sense of the word. Let's see...I haven't tried to ruin people's lives by destroying their businesses and lying about them, I've never written flat out lies on the sidewalk about anyone, I've never screamed at elderly women, calling them 'fur hags' for simply buying a coat, I've never stripped naked or mooned people, I've never scared little kids because their parents buy fur coats, I've never firebombed a medical facility, I've never threatened the lives of men women and children for simply working on or with those who seek to save human lives, I've never been a piece of filth.
I'm simply shining the light on these creeps.
Animal research DOES work and HAS saved countless lives. You can't just say it doesn't simply because you don't agree with it. I'm sure those with pacemakers and those with diabetes would disagree with you. Hell there's a dumb broad called Mary-Beth Sweetland who needs insulin to keep herself alive. The stuff was tested, successfully, on dogs and she uses it. She is, or maybe was, a Senior Vice President of PETA. Of course she says she 'needs (my) life to save the lives of animals.'
If animal research was ended tomorrow countless lives that would have been saved would be lost. I know you value the life of a rat over that of a newborn baby with AIDS but not everyone is a cold hearted bitch.
You finally say something right: Animals have no rights. That is true and there is a reason for it. Animals cannot respect the responsibilities they would also gain from having any rights. Rights and responsibilities go hand in hand. Animals should not be abused for no reason, don't kick your dog because it pooped on the rug, but a dogs life does not, I repeat, DOES NOT have more value that that of a human.
Then you claim you respect the rights of others and that I'm not respecting yours...that's is a LAUGH. Let's look at this:
YOU get to parade outside of a legal business spewing all sorts of shit using signs and video from CHINA. You get to use a sign reading people who buy or sell fur should be 'anally electrocuted and skinned alive.' You get to block the sidewalk and intimidate anyone and everyone who crosses your path.
HOWEVER
Someone stands up and says enough then you get to scream your rights are being violated! Gregg Schumacher parodies your sign saying animals activists should be 'anally electrocuted and skinned alive' and you suddenly feel threatened. You don't respect ANYONES rights and you know it. Hell, I can't even walk to work without you screaming at me, calling me an asshole and racist and video taping me walking by. I've said nearly nothing to you freaks and that's what happens.
You want to get respect for your right? THEN RESPECT THE RIGHTS OF THOSE WHO WANT TO BUY AND SELL FUR, EAT MEAT AND LIVE THEIR LIVES THE WAY THEY SEE FIT!
Your rights do NOT supersede those of everyone else. Ungar Furs has the RIGHT to sell a legal product to those who wish to buy it LEGALLY and you have no right to get in the way of that.
Perhaps you shouldn't have any rights, like the animals you claim to fight for. They have no concept of responsibilites and respect for others and neither do you.
As far as seeing you naked and that making me forget all about wonder woman, well, that would probably be true. I'm sure your body would remind me more of Jabba the Hutt or Phyllis Diller (all due respect for Mrs. Diller).
The fact you say you haven't done it yet should give everyone a reason to fear for their eyesight.

The activists at Schumachers did not display/use signs saying those who buy and/or sell fur should be anally electrocuted or skinned alive. That's a lie. And there's a reason all of the claims by the Schumachers against the named activists were dismissed. No evidence. Perhaps you don't think there should be any, that allegations are enough, but that doesn't fly in court. Lots of lies from the Schumachers though. There was no evidence because the things the Schumachers accused the named groups and persons of doing didn't happen. You know they recorded hundreds of hours of video and took tons of pictures (their employees & security), and yet nothing....no merit to the case. Gregg Schumacher had the chance to take the stand and make his case on June 18 2007 (he was in court that day...Federal District) and he chose not to testify. Did you get that Sparky, HE CHOSE NOT TO TESTIFY. Nobody but Gregg Schumacher kept Gregg Schumacher off the stand. Cross examination would have been brutal, for him, if he would have taken the stand....but great for the defense. Turns out the defense didn't need the cross-examination of Mr. Schumacher (and Linda S. didn't testify either) to make its case. Like I said, no evidence! And if you think the judge is a lefty you are wrong, Judge Mosman is a George W. Bush appointee and he referred to the case as "an extraordinary abuse of the litigation process". Gregg and Linda were ordered to pay the legal fees of the defending parties, nearly $97,000, by the way. You're aware of that, right? And they should have, the case had no merit, never should have happened. Seems the Schumacher's anger led to a costly decision and failure in court.
And if you think about bodies are designed for meat consumption...1) eat it raw for a month and see how well your body handles it. If we'ere designed for meat consumption then you should be eating it raw...and 2) go chase down the cow or the pig or the deer or the rabbit, no weapons, only your physical self, and then kill the animal and rip its flesh from its body and then eat it, that's what true carnivores do, don't they? So go for it, no guns, no bow and arrow, no traps, no other devices, just use the physical attributes you were born with and go out there and hunt down that next meal...and don't forget, carnivorous animals don't cook their food....you shouldn't either. And if you can chase down a deer nad eat its raw flesh using only your feet, hands and teeth then I'll put you in the class of the tigers, wolves, and other meat eating creatures. I can give you other reasons why we're not born for meat consumption but that's enough for now.

Legal free speech, seems Mr. Anti-PETA just can't stand that the Constitution protects the rights of activists who speak out lawfully in public places. The outreach at Ungar's has been peaceful and in accordance with the law....no arrests, no complaints to the police that we're aware of (except of the complaining of Mr. Anti-PETA on this website...booo hooo). And by the way, the store has been closed on Saturdays for the last 4 weeks...Mr. Grimm...if your reading this blog, why won't you open your doors? He must think that by taking the day off and remaining closed the activists will go away. Maybe it's the absense of customers and he'd just rather spend his time elsewhere.
Ok all you idiots, I've been to Nicholas Ungars, and it's funny... you only get the cameras out and film when you are on your best behaviour. Funny how the cameras don't get used when you are spewing your filth and violating the rights of legal customers. Oh wait... it's because you know that if a video of you screaming and attacking (just like a wild pack of dogs... hmmm... interesting... they also hunt in packs...) innocent people was ever to make it to the media, there is no way the average citizen would ever allow or tolerate your type of "peaceful protests". You would generate soooo much negative press, that the police would be forced to ENSURE that your protests were indeed peaceful and didn't violate the rights of everyone else who wants to shop or just walk down the sidewalk!!!
By the way... how many of you morons know that each and EVERY fur pelt that is sold, has to be tagged to indicate what country the fur originated from? Any savvy shopper can find out exactly where their fur came from and can insist that none of their fur comes from China. Why don't you spend your time more wisely by letting shoppers know how CHINA kills their animals, and suggest that fur shoppers find out where their fur comes from and boycott furs from China!?!?! You could actually be responsible in effecting a change in how the animals are treated and killed in the fur industry this way. You'll never be able to stop the wearing of fur... but you could change what the fur buyers are purchasing and selling in our country.
My husband and I both have several furs. We wear them all winter long. Not one of you cowards has the nerve to say anything to us in public about our furs. Seems you guys only have the guts to speak out when you have a PACK of other idiots standing behind you (back to the dog reference).
Hey Mr. Anit-Peta... how come when you say something about these people going out and getting jobs, they never reply that they are Doctors, Lawyers, etc.??? I'm not exagerrating... if you take a look at this bunch, you can see that most of them can barely scrape enough money together to make the bus fare, let alone shower and wash their clothes. I think their time would be much well better spent getting jobs, and becoming part of the tax paying community. Maybe if they had a challenging job to concentrate on, their wouldn't be so much room in their little brains for the brain washing that has taken place.
Let me tell it to you all straight! Listen! Think about it! Understand! The average citizen has a job, a home and a family. They don't have time to write in their opinions or to stand outside every Saturday to anti-protest, etc. THEY DON'T HAVE TIME! You think because you don't see or hear from them, that they agree with you?!? NO, they don't agree with you! THEY DON'T HAVE TIME! Now if you try to take meat out of the grocery stores, or take away their leather shoes or jackets, they will make time. THEY DON'T HAVE TIME to speak out against your fur protests, because it simply does not affect them. You start trying to take something away from them that does affect them, you will be shut down so fast your heads will spin. AND they won't just completely shut you down, you will actually be afraid to identify yourself as being a part of the organizations you belong to, or speaking out about your opinions. I'm not threatening you in any way, I'm simply speaking the truth, because I think someone should tell you. When American's come together they are an awesome force, and no one can stand against them (just ask the Taliban, you don't see any of them jumping up and down and identifying themselves as a member of that extremist group) No one has taken the time to tell you, because THEY DON'T HAVE THE TIME TO WASTE. Now I know that you think that just about everyone thinks the way you guys think. This is simply not true. Their are less than 1% of you in the population. You see, if you only hang around with people who all share the same views and opinions as you do, you get a very unrealistic picture of how people really think. You aren't getting a non-biased view or even the dialogue from people who have opposite views from you. It's a form of brain washing where you start to believe everything people around you are saying, because your in a position where you only hear things with one very slanted view. Stand in front of a grocery store with a petition to remove all animal products from the stores, and see how many people agree with you. Take the time to listen to what all those people have to say about your petition! You will then have a more realistic picture of exactly how the average citizen feels about your opinion. It won't be pretty, but it will give you an idea of exactly how successful your "campaigns" have been to date.
I have seriously considered inviting the Vancouver based Gypsy Jokers to join in a counter protest at Nicholas Ungars (as to how I have that contact... they were clients for the attorney's office I use to work for... Yeah I have a real job... and now own my own company!). After all... when your done with fur... the next obvious choice is leather. Damn, I forgot again... you guys are cowards, and would NEVER protest a leather shop, because there just might be some shoppers that will kick your asses, rather than let you curse at them (yes you do curse... because you cursed at me!!!), and try to bully them around. Of course little old ladies and professionals who can afford furs, are way easier targets... because they are either to frail or have too much to lose by attacking back in the same manner that you attack them. How brave are you people... because if you really deny your a bunch of cowards and really feel so passionately... I dare you to protest Love's Leather or any other leather shop in our area!!!
Mr. Grimm is one of the nicest men I know... and if he chooses to close the store on Saturdays because he doesn't want his customers harrassed by you, too bad for you and the freaks you run with.... and who is boo hoooing now?
Oh, and by the way... I'm not afraid to use my name! Quit hiding behind fake names and masks. If you really believe so strongly that you are right, then show yourself. You don't need to remain "anonymous".
