And THIS is what the city of Portland supports when it doesn't stand up to defend local businesses against the onslaught of lies and intimidation from the so-call animal lovers in this city.
These people are sick and twisted and anyone who truely thinks they actually care about animals of rights is out of their mind. So, what do they aare about? Well, outside of getting attention and having a 'cause' which allows them to treat people like crap..who knows?
If they truely cared about animals they would be fighting to get those animals whose owners are homeless off the streets instead of trying to ruin the lives of people for no reason at all.
Another thought is how they seem to care more for ANIMAL 'rights' and they care nothing for HUMAN rights. They scream they have the freedom to say whatever they want and if someone (like me) dares to not just disagree but do it often and with facts, then it's people like me who are against freedom of speech. They try to shut me up, they try to shut down those they hate. To them freedom of speech means nothing more than freedom of THEIR speech and to hell with the rest of us.
I'm hoping that the people of Portland and the people across this Great Nation will stand up and tell these people to shut the hell up. You want to say what you want? Fine, go home and say it.

These freaks are scheduled to protest today, Monday, July 14th from 3:00 to 5:00pm. The fact that these people can are protesting on Mondays just goes to prove Mr. Anti Peta and my myself are correct that most of these people who are making these "peaceful protests" do not have jobs. How can flat out stating that they are protesting to SHUT DOWN a building be legal (don't believe me... do your own google search... it states right on the protesters own websites that their goal is to SHUT DOWN Nicholas Ungar... not to educate people, not to get the trapping and ranching practices changed, not to stop the import of furs from China... nope... to SHUT DOWN Nicholas Ungar)?!? Freedom of speech is one thing, but do we have the freedom to harrass owners employees, customers and landlords until we make operating a respectable, legal business impossible?
By the way... the owners of Nicholas Ungar have seen and heard everything that happened with Schumacher's and have taken the "no confrontation" stance, and have not complained to the police, unless things have really escalated to an very unacceptable level. After all, if you confront these horrid people... you are "asking for it" according to the Portland police and Mayor. If Nicholas Ungar were to be shut down, the police and mayor would accuse Nicholas Ungar of not confronthing the protesters and filing complaints, and thereby... they were asking for it.
I do know of one woman who had some sticky substance put on the back of her fur coat when she was leaving Nicholas Ungar. I am trying to encourage her to report this to the police, but she has been frightened by the protesters in the past. They have followed her to her car, they have taken pictures and video of her, her car and her license plate. Come on people, how can this be anything other than a scare tactic. In this day and age she is smart to assume they can get DMV records from some sympathizer in the DMV and have access to her name and her HOME address. She's terrified! This is purely terrorist activity. They are intentionally trying to terrorize her so she won't return.
For any protesters that read this... please explain to me what role following a customer to their car, taking pictures of them, their car and their license plate plays in the "peaceful protest"??? How do you justify this?
Portland Police Bureau, Mayor... how do you justify this action and allowing it to continue???
