I received this comment from Aquilus Domini from my War on America post:

you watch too much Fox News! they're trying to find ways to make our universal healthcare different than the universal healthcare in some european countries. even McCain wanted to do the healthcare thing, so either way (whoever would have won the votes), you'd still be bitching. the way it is now, everyone's screwed anyway. insurance rapes us daily (we get charged for bullshit that we won't even use with all the plans, such as pregnancy care, wtf?). the people without insurance, they're screwed because america has failed (thanks to 8 years of Bush's and his minions' idiocy). universal healthcare doesn't have to be a bad thing, they really are working damn hard to make it so that it doesn't fuck up like it has in Europe. Democrats' best intentions are to improve our shittacular country so that it no longer screams "Land of Idiots". Democrats are patriotic, they're not turning the country into a Marxist one. if you knew diddly shit about marxism anyway, you'd know that the intentions of it were good, but then along the way dipshits came along and fucked it up, like what happens with most governments (including our "precious" democracy). again, WAY TOO MUCH FOX NEWS WATCHING, WAY WAY TOO MUCH.

Now, this is a great example of what I'm talking about here. Now, while I'm sure Aquilus means well, he's way off and shows us who he is quite well here. Obviously not paying attention to facts like most Americans are happy with their health care insurance. So, not really 'screwed' are we? Some other bits to point out are insurance companies are attacked and demonized by Obama and his short bus crew but they are also hog tied by the federal government. Federal regulations hinder a lot of industries in this country, like the auto industry with all these pointless emission laws.
The simple reality is in America, we have the BEST health care system in the world today. What the Democrats want to do is destroy it and create something that more closely follows their un-American, Marxist views of the world where the government is the end all be all for us.
Why not let Americans search for insurance outside of the state we live in? You know we aren't allowed to do that? There are thousands of health insurance providers across this country and we only have access to a few of them because we have to stay within our state. By allowing that, is creates competition and that is never bad for us.
Why not regulate frivolous lawsuits? Much of the reason we pay so much is because some dip shit decides to sue for something that wasn't wrong in the first place and it raises rates for everyone.
Why not ENFORCE OUR IMMIGRATION LAWS. Let's start rounding up these illegal criminal aliens who sneak across our borders and when they get hurt they go to OUR hospitals and use OUR health care and since they have no insurance the cost of everything gets past us those of us who are here legally.
Finally...BE HONEST ABOUT THE NUMBER OF UNINSURED. I keep hearing this "46 million uninsured" number and it's a bunch of crap. At MOST there are less than 10 million uninsured. These people need to be HONEST for once, I know it's hard for a group of people who hate America, hate Democracy and hate Freedom but the fact is this is America: The Best Nation on Earth. They can start doing it or they can start looking for a new job.

America is not a 'shittacular country, my friend, it's the BEST country on Earth. this is something is really sick of. Trashing America with no respect for reality. I hear "our health care is horrible" yet I never hear of anyone LEAVING America and going to Europe for major medical reasons. I don't recall the late Ted Kennedy going to Canada for help. IT NEVER HAPPENS. People come HERE for major medical care because we have the BEST. We are hardly 'Land of Idiots' unless you're talking about last years Presidential Campaign. Ignorance is the only reason last year happened. McCain? Obama? I've never seen 2 guys LESS qualified to be President and yet, those were our choices. And we got the most inept of those 2 right now.

They are no longer a Patriotic Party and I'll say it right to their greasy faces! They have destroyed the housing industry. They destroyed the banks then took them over. They took over the auto industry. They bully businesses to get what they want. Obama as their leader has done more damage to this country that any President we've had. He's ruined our economy and destroyed employment. And, yes, they are trying to turn America into a socialist, Marxist country. And there is NOTHING good about that. NOTHING.

First I'll cover our "precious" democracy. Our Democracy IS precious. It's important and it's worth fighting for. America is the best of the best and Democracy is the main reason why. The current regime is trying to destroy it, true, but this is America. We've faced evil, communism, fascism, Nazism, Marxism and other evils in the past and we've overcome. We'll overcome this group of Freedom hating Marxists as well. As for knowing what Marxism is...One of my favorite quotes of all time is: "How do you tell a Communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin." Those are great words from one of the Greatest Americans of All Time, President Ronald Reagan.

Now, I have a question. What is wrong with watching FOX News? I hear it get bashed all the time and some people say 'it's biased' or 'they cater to the right' but then they have no defense for CNN, MSNBC or any of the other mainstream media outlets. I do watch FOX News, it's on my dial right next to CNN. I switch back and forth between the 2 and I only see FOX being what they say they are: Fair and Balanced. CNN is very biased and never fair. So, I've like to know exactly what is wrong with watching FOX News.

Finally, you seem like a good kid, a bit misguided certainly or perhaps uninformed, but good. I haven't looked at your blog yet but the simple fact that, unlike most of the cowards who try to trash me and argue with me here, you actually posted who you are. Because of this, I opted to be respectful and not treat you like the people who comment while hiding who they are. I'll look at your blog or blogs, I have 2 so I figure most people have more than one these days and if I see something I'd like to comment on, I'll be as respectful to you as you were to me.
